What text should I write on my banner?

Whatever you want. If you're going to use the banner to advertise your products or services you should write some text advertising your products. If you're going to advertise your company then you should for example write your slogan. It's up to you!

How do I download my banner?

When you're happy with your banner you simply click on "Save" to have your newly created banner uploaded to ImageShack. You will then see example HTML codes so you can use your banner on your web site, blog, forum or myspace page. To download your banner to your own computer, simply click on the thumbnail after you've pressed the save button. Then right click on the full size banner and select "Save picture as".
